Army Attack Guide

Welcome to Army Attack

Army Attack was Digital Chocolate's war-strategy game on Facebook (2011–2016): build up your base, train infantry, armour and artillery, and drive the Crimson Empire out of your homeland one map at a time. It's playable again thanks to the Army Attack team (armyattack.me, source at github.com/Michielvde1253/army-client, GPL-3.0), who rebuilt it from the Android version. L.O.S hosts their browser version with one change: your progress is saved to your L.O.S account.

Getting in

  1. Get the L.O.S launcher from losfarms.xyz/launcher. It has Flash Player built in.
  2. Sign in with your L.O.S account and pick Army Attack in the games hub.
  3. Press Play on the title screen. The tutorial walks you through your first fight.

Your army

  • Money, supplies and energy (top bar): money buys buildings and units, supplies feed your troops, and energy is spent on actions and refills over time.
  • Units: infantry, armour and artillery, trained in your buildings and moved around the map to attack enemy positions.
  • Buildings and defences: boot camps, factories, resource buildings, decorations and installations like pillboxes, from the Shop.
  • Missions: follow the general's orders (the mission panel) to unlock new areas, units and maps.

Saving

  • The game saves to your L.O.S account every minute and loads it when you start, on any computer.
  • The floppy disk button still downloads a copy of your save as a file, if you want a backup.
  • Load Progress on the title screen loads a save file, so you can bring over progress from the Army Attack team's desktop version. Once loaded, it's saved to your account too.
